Harley Quinn, done on red paper with gray-scale Copic markers and white paint.
Yes... I like this..
My god... I love how you did this everything from the use of paper to markers. One of my favorite pieces of her.
Very nicely done! Would you mind if I tooned this pic and put it on display (NOT BEING SOLD) in my Facebook store? It will be on display only/water marked, credit will be given and a link to my store. Thanks!
I don't understand what you mean by "tooned"; can you please explain, or show me an example?
nothing funny about her! nice piece.
What an amazing technique. Red paper and then adding black and white? That's the sort of creative thinking my art teacher really lauded, but I could never get the hang of. ^_^; Awesome way to use your materials.
nice drawing!! you'r drawing have a ''retro'' look which adds to its charms! splendid work!
I wonder if it only looks retro because its not digital? I'm a fossil like that, using things like paint, markers and pencils!
it's no about paper and pencil...it's about the comic style colouring you used, it look like it was done by a DC:comics artist.
Very, very nice. Her costume actually looks like it's made of PVC or something similar.
Nice work. You didnt happen to refference this from internet model carlotta champagne did you? I only ask cause shes a favorite of mine and i swear this looks like some shot of hers i have seen. Just curious. Great art though.
Rob, I drew this a very long time ago. I know I did use reference, but I couldn't say who it was that I drew. I'm sorry!
This is fabulous! You've totally captured her personality too!
Corny as it sounds, the pistol is what won me over...
Its not corny at all. Adam taught me to reference things like guns-- he rightly says someone will always notice if you get it wrong! So being unfamiliar with them, I try and do a lot of research before I draw them, so they look real or appropriate to the character.
You picked the right level of comical appearance of it, it captures the essence of the character and still kept it in line with the approach. Ha! Listen to this hack giving critical advice to a talent such as you...hope the both of you continue the success. I told Adam a while back I am dusting off my pencils and I may even jump in a class, both of you leave me wanting to try and et better again. I took several years off from sketching and man it is a perishable skill.
Really good work.
Im in a photoshop class, and for our final project we have to create a calender with a theme. for my theme i chose DC Comics characters. I wanted to know if i could use your art for photo manipulations for my project.
This is one of the few pieces where Harley looks hot and crazy! Awesome work!
AMAZING! I loooove her cute smile in this, and the detail just blows my mind!
